SevenEvents worked on a brief that required a venue to be quirky with a floral/rainforest twist. One of the main objectives was to make sure it photographed well. Below are a few of the options that really fit this objective if you are looking for that “instagramable venue”
South Place Hotel
South Place Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel based near Liverpool street. Located with the south place hotel you will find a secret garden. Open to the public regularly however can be hired for private events. Tucked away on the first floor of the hotel, the Secret Garden is a sheltered outdoor bar with a retractable roof to deal with the ever-changing British weather. Tropical touches such as slate waterfalls, palms and bamboo, a stage-lit bar and a sixty-foot sculpture running the height of the interior wall.
Mr Fogg’s Botanical Gardens
With a few venues located around London – Mr Foggs Botanical Gardens meets the quirky objective. Located on the corner of Newman street this venue offers a variety of spaces suitable for a range of events. All the spaces are flooded with natural light due to the large sash windows. With ceilings high enough for the tallest of trees it creates a sense of bright airiness. Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals showcases a magnificent display of the explorer’s botanical acquisitions and eccentric souvenirs of his global adventures.
Lumiere
Lumiere London is centrally located in Southwark and home to four unique 1900 sq. ft. loft studios. One space stands out here and that’s The Tropical Library. The Tropical Library has brick walls, wooden floors, luxurious furniture and wild lamp! Its topped off with green palm and banana trees, large wildlife prints and lots and lots of books to keep you out of mischief!
