30 Mar ‘Something New, Different and Unusual’ …
..These are three things that feature on clients list of priorities often. If they ring a bell with you then look no further; a manmade island in the Solent, a mile or so north of the Isle of Wight, certainly ticks the box. Built in the 1870s, this extraordinary former military post is now a fully renovated venue, offering event bookers the chance to organise meetings, team-building activities or a special dining event.
Whether it’s an incentive with a twist a trip to the Fort can be as relaxing or action packed as you wish. For those looking for an edgy incentive, No Man’s offers perfect relaxation its own spa, a choice of bars and a large sun deck. Or for those thrill seekers, work up an appetite enjoying RIB rides, jet biking, sea kayaking, or kite surfing.
Or team building where this island is perfectly built to house challenging games as the Sea Level is where the gunpowder and munitions were stored. Because they were highly explosive and the Fort was designed to withstand heavy bombardment, meaning the space is entirely enclosed by thick granite walls. This also means it is completely pitch black with a confusing labyrinth of rooms arranged in a circle around the central well house. Almost all of this level has been turned into an incredible purpose-built LaZer Battle arena which includes 21 separate rooms. It’s a fantastic and unique facility where large private or corporate groups can have hours of adrenalin-fuelled team fun.
