28 Sep Square Meal 2015
The Venues & Events Show – known as Square Meal in the past – took place at Old Billingsgate this year again. The two days show (23 – 24 September) is the ultimate show for event organisers. Obviously, Seven Events Events was there!
The Show features 250 venues and event suppliers, plus 40 expert seminars and tasting sessions across five colourful floors. The first seminar was ‘Best New Venues 2015/2016’ and the highlights were the opening of two new hotels: The Intercontinental O2 and the Hilton London Bankside. Both hotels are offering accommodation for large groups as well as great conference facilities. A third one is about to open as well, but with a completely different style, the Nobu Hotel! London is a city which never stops, so have a look at the new venues to open to include Thames Tunnel, Bounce East side (if you fancy a ping pong challenge!), Barrio in Brixton, and etc.venues in Fenchurch!
On the second floor at Old Billingsgate, for the ones who passed by, there was a cooking class set-up from the famous Cactus Kitchen! We were all invited to take part in this interactive session. Cactus Kitchen is a Michel Roux Jr Cookery School in London!
