Summer in Stockholm

Summer in Stockholm

Sometimes the Nordics are seen as a winter destination but that shouldn’t be the case. Summer in Stockholm is lovely and there are a plethora of things to do!

If you’re looking for a quieter visit I’d suggest visiting in July as a lot of the locals head out of town on holidays otherwise there’s a cool buzz around this city to draw people in.

What’s great about Stockholm is that everything is walkable. You get to stay in the city and walk to the old town with no issues and everything is both clean and safe.

Everyone likes to eat out here so there are plenty of restaurants to whet your appetite. From those with a cool vibe with a view, like TAK, to some more off the beaten track like Nosh and Chow and Hillenberg and the variety of food is wide – from traditional to modern with a more international twist.

You should see Stockholm from all angles so you can take a rooftop tour in the old town for a 360 degree of the city or take to the water and rib boat your way around the Archipelago… so much fun!

Nightlife is great here with lots of bars, some with a more relaxed vibe like Stockholm under the Stars or if clubbing is more your style then Sturecompagniet (yes, it’s not the easiest to pronounce) has so many rooms to offer than there’s a style of music for everyone!

If you’ve not been to Stockholm then you’re missing out. Why not get in touch with our incentive team and they can put together a programme that will both delight and inspire!
