31 May Summer of Sound on the roof
After a spot of shopping in John Lewis on Oxford street why not head up to the rooftop garden and relax with a gin and tonic in hand. The Summer of Sound at John Lewis’ Gardening Society Rooftop invites you to celebrate music, food and drink at one of London’s largest rooftops this summer.
Fever tree are running their own bar and are bringing with them their ultimate Gin and Tonic menu, you will have the choice eight delicious drinks. They will also be partnering with the brands featured on their menu to host a masterclass every Thursday evening. If Gin isn’t your cup of tea then don’t worry their Background Bars will be serving up wine, beer and cocktails including a Rhubarb Negroni, Sparking Serenata, Jazzy, Drum & Sax and Mr Earl’s Quartet. The Summer of Sound really does offer something for everyone.
Taste Sensation!
The New York inspired, buttermilk friend chicken connoisseurs – Butchies, will be providing the food! They’ll be bringing all their favourite buttermilk chicken sandwiches, as well as a few new creations. For example the “Freddie Mercur-Bee” which adds smoky bacon and chilli-infused honey.
You can also book to eat your food in private “immersive sound studios” from Sonos, Ruark Audio and Naim, each with an individual playlist. You can expect Live music, DJ sets and acoustic performances throughout the summer of sound.
Roof top bars are popping up all over London and, so far, don’t seem to be going out of fashion anytime soon! Want to hear more about new venue openings this summer? Then get in contact with a member of our team!
