We are ready to start thinking about Summer 2020 and where to book for your summer party. For those wanting to get out of London but have too high numbers for the smaller, more available venues, here’s a list of suggestions to get you thinking about this year’s BBQ’s.

LilliBrook Manor – Maidenhead

Initially, this Grade II listed venue was restored primarily as a wedding venue but they now offer their peaceful grounds of the 15th-century manor to corporate guests too. Perfect for team building and family fun days as well as training, meetings or whatever else you may need. Easy transport links mean they are just 20 minutes from London Paddington (with a 2-mile taxi journey from the station to Lillibrooke)

Sopwell House – St Albans

Set in 12 acres of peaceful Hertfordshire countryside, this is a great option if you’re looking for a country house hotel just 20 mins from St Pancras International and just 1 hour from Central London or Heathrow by car. Their 14 function rooms mean they can host events of up to 700 guests and they can cater for conferences, summer parties and team building alike.

Painshill Conservatory – Cobham

A wedding and corporate events venue set in the 160-acre grounds of Painshill Park. They have a purpose-built marquee within the park’s walled gardens, allowing for events of up to 320 guests. The space can be adapted, with moveable walls to make the most out of the space and creating smaller rooms within – perfect for all your breakout needs. Slightly further away, it will take approx. an hour to get to Painshill from London Waterloo.

Ravens Ait – Kingston Upon Thames

This unique Island venue can accommodate events of up to 400 exclusively, which each space overlooking the river Thames. There are 3 indoor spaces, including a marquee and plenty of outdoor space as well – making it perfect for a summer party. Slightly closer to the city, it will take just 30 minutes to get from Waterloo to this private island.
