Sunshine, Soaks and Snow Capped Mountains

Sunshine, Soaks and Snow Capped Mountains

Thanks to Mags Worldwide Seven Events Events got to attend a fabulous trip to Morocco, Marrakech. It’s a destination that has been popping up for incentive travel – and boy, it didn’t disappoint.

Our accommodation for the 2 days was the Royal Palm Marrakech, which had just celebrated its first birthday in September. Part of the luxurious Beachcomer Hotels range, Royal Palm did not let down. This vast estate like hotel sits at the foot of the Atlas Mountains with all the rooms getting a slice of the awe-inspiring snow-capped Mountain views. The hotel is designed in a traditional yet contemporary Moroccan style, it’s is also graced with a spectacular 18-hole golf course designed by Cabell B. Robinson.

Our day of activities included a trip up the Mountain to Terre d’Amanar, where we braved a monkey bridge suspended ludicrously high and 5 adrenaline pumping zip wires that were suspended over what felt like mammoth canyons! Lunch was a traditional Moroccan feast followed by a cheeky food induced siesta. The afternoon was filled with a guided tour around the world famous souks, rabbit hole like alley ways filled with shops that sell things such as brightly knitted hats to tortoises.

Our penultimate treat was dinner at Crystal hotel, where the food was to die for, (Crystal also plays home to Pacha Marrakech) followed by drinks and entertainment at the Jad Mahal. Finally to top off an amazing 2 days away the group was treated to a magical Clarins Spa Treatment back at the Royal Palm.

Marrakech is certainly a destination for the future, with hotels such as the Royal Palm and Four Seasons popping up – it’s a must visit. Seven Events must say a big thank you to Mags Worldwide, Beachcomer and Monarch Travel for putting together such an awesome Fam trip!
