being back in lockdown isn’t easy and with it comes different challenges for each of us. during these times it is important to look out for each other and be aware of others and their feelings.

working at home is great for some and not for others. you may not have an area to work in. you may share a house with lots of people so that means you’re stuck in your room all day. you may feel like you’re spending too much time with your family (despite the fact that you think they’re great) or that you’re not spending enough time with them because you feel like you’re always working.

no one said that this was going to be easy so ensuring that you take time out for your own wellbeing has never been more important.

take that walk first thing in the morning. treat yourself with something yummy at lunchtime. look out for each other.

normally you spend more time with your colleagues than you do your friends and family so make sure that they’re ok. we’re all guilty of just calling and talking about work now, via phone, teams, zoom… but don’t forget to ask how they’re doing. you may just be the person they need to have reach out to them.
