Did you know, that the ArcelorMittal Orbit, in Olympic Park, is more than just a big red sculpture with lots of funky metal winding its way around?! It is also an events space, with a great view of London! The ArcelorMittal Orbit can accommodate up to 250 guests standing, or approximately 180 seated. The Podium events space can also host meetings and events for up to 220 standing or 90 seated with a versatile range of seating options. Events at the Podium can also be paired with VIP tours of the ArcelorMittal Orbit during opening hours. For any West Ham fans, it’s also a great view of your new home stadium!
If hosting an event in the tower isn’t good enough for you, you can also abseil down it! Standing at 262 it makes it UK’s highest freefall abseil! Wire and Sky with their trained professional instructors will give you a comprehensive safety briefing and provide all the specialist equipment required before they escort the group to the upper viewing platform. From there, over the edge you go!
I know that’s not going to be enough to please you, and I’m no let down Larry so… now AM Orbit is turning into a slide?! Spring time next year and you will be taking the 40 second and 178m plunge down the UK’s longest slide! We are already counting down until the opening, and assure you we will be there with bells on!
