The Brewery

The Brewery

Recently we were tasked with the mission to find a large conference venue for up to 400 people theatre style. however, the catch was that it couldn’t look like your typical conference venue and instead had to have a look and feel of an industrial venue. As difficult as this was, we love a good challenge here at SevenEvents so we got to researching the highs and lows of the internet and past events. We then came across the Brewery, which ticked all the boxes. Large conference venue with ample space, tick. A venue where there are lots of large-sized breakout rooms, tick. Located nearby great transport links, tick. So, if your ever in the need for something similar let us tell you a bit more about The Brewery!

The Brewery venue occupies the site of the former Whitbread brewery in East London. In 1750 Samuel Whitbread, having bought property in the area, transplanted his operations to Chiswell Street from two smaller breweries in Old Street and Brick Lane. Within a few years, Whitbread’s brewery had become a vast operation, its sheer size making it an attraction worthy of royal visits. George III, Queen Charlotte, Queen Elizabeth II and Elizabeth the Queen Mother all visited the site.

Although Whitbread developed the spaces at The Brewery solely to accommodate each stage of the brewing process, the rooms have now evolved to become the perfect setting for a contemporary corporate event. Each of the 6 spaces is rich in character and beautiful original features that will add personality to an event, without imposing on it. The rooms are set on top of each other over 3 floors, which enables delegates at larger conferences to seamlessly flow between plenary, syndicate and exhibition spaces without having to cover great distances. This layout also enables the venue to ensure privacy for all parties, whilst running up to 6 concurrent events.

Finding the right location for your event can be challenging, that’s why we make sure we try out as many as possible, so we can provide you with the right option for you. If you want to find out more about how we do this, contact a member of our events team, they will be happy to tell you all about their experiences. to have a look at some of the other amazing events we have organised click on the link. https://www.sevenevents.co.uk/casestudies/
