last week the team were excited to take part in the meeting show which pivoted to virtual after restrictions surrounding the global pandemic prevented the show from taking place at olympia london as usual. the meetings show is uk’s leading exhibition for meeting and event professionals, offering an unrivalled platform for business opportunity and brings the heart of the event community together. launched in 2013, the meetings show welcomes exhibitors and buyers from around the world including hotels, destination management companies, agencies, conference centres, venues and technology suppliers.
the show was supported by the swap card virtual event platform which allows guests to network and schedule one to one meetings, visit exhibitor stands and watch educational content scheduled throughout the 3-day programme. the highlight was certainly andy king’s keynote speech, where he discussed what really happened at the infamous fyre festival, how to preserve your reputation and all things climate change.
the team really enjoyed this years show and hope that next year we can once again meet in person!
