19 Oct The Rise of the Incentive
Over the past few years when companies have been tightening the purse strings the first element of events to take a back seat was the Incentive. Obviously companies were still rewarding their staff, just in different ways, and certainly not in ways that could be perceived as being spending unnecessarily.
Over the past 18 months we’ve seen this start to change to the degree that within the last few weeks Incentive trips have picked up again.
The destinations are getting further and the numbers are getting bigger and even the itinerary is changing. Some are now back to being trips with a plus one, others are just more social with the need to incorporate a meeting on the downward turn. Popular destinations are still often in Europe such as France, Spain and Italy however destinations further afield such as Mauritius, the Seychelles and Saint Lucia are now in the mix.
Incentives are something we do well at Seven Events. Our aim is to give your delegates a trip of a lifetime, incorporating experiences that you’re unlikely to go to and do yourself so when you’re planning your next incentive give us the opportunity to show you what we can do. There’s a whole world out there to explore!
