the venue sets the scene

the venue sets the scene

here at sevenevents we believe a unique venue sets the scene and underlines the message of the event like no other. and one of our favourite venues that honours our belief is tate modern.

housed in the former bankside power station, tate modern is one of the largest museums of modern and contemporary art in the world but also an iconic venue to celebrate international, modern and contemporary art-events in london. with 10 floors, unique spaces and a magnificent view of st paul’s cathedral, arriving at tate modern it’s always an experience itself.

the turbine hall is one of the most iconic urban spaces in the world. on occasions when there are no exhibits in the turbine hall itself, you can make use of the whole space, scaling your event up to 1,500 for a reception and 800 for dinner.

the defining feature of the east room, high up on the top floor of the natalie bell building, is the view – a panoramic sweep of the london skyline from st paul’s to the shard.

tate members bar inside is relaxed, comfortable but luxurious, with deep sofas and a private bar to hand. A display of vintage posters showcases decades of landmark exhibitions at tate.

the kitchen & bar restaurant transforms into a sleek and stylish space with floor-to-ceiling windows and a specially commissioned mural by a contemporary artist.

in the heart of blavatnik building, level 4 allows guests to journey through this iconic building and enjoy a private view of tate’s growing global collection of modern and contemporary visual art.

the south room is tate modern’s only space dedicated to events. in the heart of blavatnik building, this private space gives the freedom to create an event to suit the bespoke requirements and realise the client engagement needs.

the modern design, subtle details and spacious feel of the members room encapsulate the spirit and unique ambience of this public building. designed to create a beautiful area for socialising, this space is perfect for an exclusive corporate event.

the restaurant is a London hot spot that offers the very best of british cuisine. the strong architectural design which runs throughout the whole gallery can be seen at its best in this inviting and welcoming space.
