15 Jan London’s newest private members club – The Wing
London has become the latest City to jump on the bandwagon and introduce the ultra-chic and very Instagrammable private members club, The Wing. This chain was originally founded in NYC in 2016 and is rapidly growing and has now spread its wings and landed close by in Oxford Circus! This is a five-story townhouse in Central London and is the new hot spot for women-only to gather, work, connect and thrive. It is also jumping on to the trend of super-efficient and practical co-working spaces which allow freelancers to work flexibly at the same time as interacting with other like-minded people.
It has been gorgeously designed, with pinks and mint-green colour palettes creating a fantastically feminine place for women. The soft pastel palette and cool furniture is an aesthetic dream to the eyes. Think egg chairs, colour co-ordinated bookshelves and a whole range of different textures and lightings. I don’t know about you, but I could certainly imagine better work quality being done in a pink palace!
The application form asks prospective members to describe how they have ‘promoted or supported the advancement of women’, then to answer what they think is the ‘biggest challenge facing women today’. It is worth the hard work to get in apparently, as the club is made up of a whole heap of different spaces including a tearoom, portrait gallery, fitness room, photobooths and a seasonal terrace. Lots to keep you busy here! This phenomenal space is genius and inspires incredible woman to work harder, smarter and all in an exclusive, plush setting. We are definitely excited to see more future changes in working spaces!
