Up Pops Autumn

Up Pops Autumn

The restaurant on the roof has easily been one of Selfridges most successful endeavours in the last few years with Vintage SaltLe Chalet and Q Grill all being big hits. Now they’re changing things again for winter, again partnering with Des McDonald who also did the past three restaurants.

Taking its inspiration from an autumnal forest there are narrow tree trunks lining the walls of the main restaurant area with fairy lights hanging from the ceiling, transporting guests to an outdoor dining experience in the British countryside.

A number of private ‘rooms’, which resemble mini huts or country houses are also available. These are complete with soft throws and cushions, and country inspired knick-knacks including deer antlers hanging from the walls.

The menu showcases local produce with the techniques of foraging and foresting employed to source and create the dishes on offer.

The pop up, which is expected to remain in situ until the new year, also offers a range of Christmas themed drinks including the Fancy Nogg, Spicey Cane and Gingerbread Choctail.
