14 Sep venue spotlight: fairmont windsor park
a couple of weeks ago, we stayed at the fairmont windsor park for our company’s offsite visit. this modern hotel is situated in the english countryside, amongst plenty of greenery, with london less than an hour away. the entrance to the hotel is breath-taking, as you drive through the open green spaces, over the bridge and passing the serene lake.
the hotel consists of 251 bedrooms/suites, a spa and wellness centre, 15 meeting rooms and several restaurants. our meeting was in the primrose suite in a u-shape layout, perfect for presenting with a clear focal point. between all the meeting rooms, there is possibility for: theatre, classroom, cabaret, boardroom arrangements with a ranging capacity from 12 to 100 attendees.
the stylish 1215 bar located directly next to the 1215 restaurant is a great place to unwind, or to catch up with colleagues after a day of meetings. you can enjoy a glass of wine or champagne or experience an expertly mixed cocktail. bar food is available to order if you are wanting a more informal meal. the menu includes a variety of small and large plates, with plenty of sweet treats to finish with.
