located at no.3 st james’s street in the heart of london’s west end, berry bros. & rudd is britain’s original wine and spirits merchant since 1698. berry bros. & rudd has supplied the royal family since the reign of king george iii and provide tutored wine tastings, exceptional food and a range of over 4,000 wines and spirits. stepping into the quiet pickering place, they offer four private rooms for hire, ranging in capacity from 16 to 120 people standing. we recently had the opportunity to visit their unique sussex cellar.
to escape the hustle and bustle of st james’s street, you enter sussex cellar through a secret door in one of their historic townhouses. spread over two levels the sussex cellar combines modern architectural innovation with the feel of historic cellars. standing capacity is 60 and 44 for seated.
