last week we were out conducting site visits at a couple of vineyards in the uk. it was a perfect week of weather for them and we can’t wait to host a few events at these locations!
denbies
denbies vineyard and hotel is located in dorking, surrey. denbies vineyard was planted in 1986, and since then has become one of the largest wine producers in the uk. there is a range of different experiences you can take part in! our personal favourite is the train tour. guests will take the train up into to the vineyards. this tour offers spectacular viewpoints of the vineyard, box hill and dorking. once at the top of ranmore common, guests will be served sparkling wine and canapes. guests will then make their way back down to the main building on the train, where they will enjoy a wonderful 3 course lunch in the gallery restaurant.
hush heath
hush heath is the home of balfour wine and is located in the rolling hills of kent. they offer exceptional guest experiences. on arrival guests will receive a glass of their signature sparkling wine while being introduced to one of their expert tour guides. after a briefing, guests will make their way outside to tour the beautiful estate. gain a real insight into their viticulture practices, woodland and wildflower conservation programme and experience the wonderful nature on the 400-acre estate. learn about the mastery of winemaking and production techniques for still and sparkling wines. on arrival back into the main building, guests will take part in a tutored wine tasting with canapes, followed by a delicious 3 course lunch.
