09 Jul virgin money unity concert – the future of live music events?
with all music festivals and gigs being cancelled left, right and centre this will come as good news for those of you craving a live music performance.
the virgin money unity arena will be able to host 2,500 people all socially distanced. taking place in newcastle’s gosforth park it has promised a safe environment for all attendees. the line-up is yet to be announced but they have said it will include ‘several high-profile artists’.
how will it work?
how does a socially distanced concert look? well all guests will be asked to arrive by car, these cars will be socially distanced parked. upon leaving your car, staff will take you to your own private viewing area. it has been suggested that the private viewing areas will be raised platforms all socially distanced from each other. food and drinks will be available to pre-order and will then be delivered to your viewing area. at least you won’t have to que for hours for a beer! toilets will operate on a one-way system. there will be plenty of hand sanitiser and all staff members will need to wear masks.
newcastle too far for you?
newcastle too far you. not to worry as utila have a set of drive in concerts throughout the country with a range of different artists set to perform. tickets on sale now for this!
