07 Apr where will we head to first?
it’s unprecedented to have such a worldwide travel ban and whilst at the moment it’s imperative, it does make you think about where you want to head to next. as you know from previous blogs, here at sevenevents we love to travel, and understandably we had trips that have had to be postponed, so for us, the first place we’re going to be heading to is the beautiful dubrovnik! our client has pushed back the event but the final planning still needs to be finished so once we’re all back to some kind of normality we’ll be jetting off to croatia to set the wheels in motion.
dubrovnik has a lot to offer the incentive market and whilst it is more discovered in recent years, there are still a lot of people who haven’t sampled the delights that it has to experience. the old town is simply stunning, and if you’re lucky enough to stay within walking distance – which our group is – then it’s so easy to explore the backstreets, walk the city walls or if you’re feeling adventurous take the cable car to see the old town and elaphiti islands from a great height! croatian cuisine is very mediterranean in feel with the emphasis on fresh fish and produce and the wine is excellent – so much so that they don’t export their wine and keep it themselves! the hotels are of a high standard, most with views across the sea allowing you to see the most stunning sunsets, and there are so many activities for groups to appeal to all. from off road buggies, food tours, speedboats around the islands and the game of thrones tours there really is something for everything in dubrovnik. it’s a firm favourite for us and we can’t wait to go back!
