wood quay

wood quay

the woods family have been thames watermen since 1866. in the decades since, woods’ silver fleet – the silver sturgeon, silver barracuda and silver darling have become highly popular event spaces. now adding to that repertoire is woods quay, an extraordinary new building moored on the thames. this new space not only offers the private charter guests a magnificent 21st-century passage to their awaiting boat but is also an event space in its own right. this venue is comprised of 4 different but connected spaces, the east wing, the west wing, the cormorant deck and the mooring pontoon.

the comorant deck is the beautiful entrance to this space, with a pebble terrazzo floor and spectacular views this would be an ideal place for a drinks reception.

the mooring pontoon is central london’s longest private mooring. this sheltered space faces the victoria embankment.

the west wing is positioned to take in a panoramic water level view of cleopatra’s needle, the houses of parliament & the london eye. this space offers vast floor to ceiling windows, a wraparound outside deck and a show-stopping bar.

lastly the east wing, specifically designed to celebrate the woods family’s twin passions for feasting & the glorious river thames. there are glass walls to capture the ever-changing riverscape, a tasting galley, tasting bar, spacious outside deck and in the centre of it all a large feasting table.
