become an adrenaline junky
riga offers some extraordinary experiences all year round – our favourite has to be the bobsleigh track at sigulda which is 1 of only 14 tracks used in the world bobsleigh championships. during your decent down the olympic sized track of 1420 metres, you’ll experience speeds of up to 60 miles per hour! if you visit during the warmer months, the summer bobsleigh on wheels is open to visitors and is also an exhilarating experience not to be missed!
eat local
the central market, also known as the commercial heart of riga, is filled with local vendors, charming chefs and unique architecture. groups can be set tasks to purchase the ingredients needed for their dinner and taste local delicacies along the way!
hotels
there are hotels to suit all tastes in riga – we particularly love the pullman which opened back in 2016. located in the historical old town, this hotel combines impressive 21st century architecture with contemporary interior design. they can offer 155 bedrooms and 8 conference spaces, so plenty of flexibility for small to medium groups.
