The event was for a prestigious international law firm who wanted to host a conference for 400 of their partners to announce exciting, landmark, innovations within the firm.
The Tate Modern was the perfect venue for the event, an iconic and inspirational space which set the tone for the day from the start. the main body of the event was held within the galleries new space, the tanks. two huge hexagonal gallery spaces with an industrial feel. the south tank hosted the conference, which was the main focus of the event. at the heart of this space was an impressive conference set which took inspiration from its surrounding with a backdrop made up of 6 colourful hanging canvases and 3 suspended screens. in addition there were 6 projections placed on around the walls on the south tank which had continual changing content depending on what subject was being covered. alongside colour washes where used throughout and altered depending on the topic that was being discussed. The guests spent the full day within the conference or in workshops a short distance from the main space. however after a long day the guests were treated to a drinks reception and private view of the turbine halls exhibition. this was then followed by a sumptuous 3 course dinner at the heart of the venue on the turbine bridge.
