Face approached Seven Events events looking for a partner to provide onsite events management, and a delegate system for Face Conference 2013. Having previously managed delegate registration in house the conference had grown to the point where a more professional system was required. The conference is held at the QE II Conference centre and attracts 1,000 delegates over three days.
Seven Events provided a bespoke delegate management system to meet the clients specific requirements. The delegate management system was created to be incorporated into the Face Conference website. The sophisticated system allowed delegates to choose their own conference program, selecting preferred days and seminars to attend. During the three day conference delegates were registered on site and badges personally printed and distributed at check in desks. The client had wanted to keep a personal service for check in, so chose to have staffed check in desks where each delegate was greeted on arrival and had their own specific badge and conference literature distributed. Seven Events also provided a help desk for any delegate registration issues and to allow walk ins to register and pay on site. The bespoke delegate management system was incredibly well received and the personal and efficient service improved the delegate experience. The post event reporting was invaluable to the client allowing an accurate picture of attendance for each section of the event. Moving forward the client has again enlisted our services for the 2014 conference. We are now working with them to develop the system further to continue to improve the delegate experience.
