The Event
The National Instruments Annual President’s Club alternates between a couples only and a family trip. The family element was introduced as it was found that many winners of the incentive were unable to attend due to family commitments. So by opening up to families, the trip has become more successful and more motivational to the sales team. The trip is exclusively for the top sellers within Europe and the Middle East, so needs to be inspirational and luxurious. And on a family year, we keep the trip to European family friendly destinations and within the school holidays. For this year, the Ritz Carlton Abama was selected, a luxury 5 star property in Tenerife. The resort offers a vast array of options for dinners onsite from the poolside restaurant to on the beach dining. There is a private beach that we used for a family Olympics challenge and a neighbouring banana plantation that was the venues for a very special offsite dinner. There is a vast mix of ages amongst the kids so optional sign up activities allowed families to pick what best suited their family unit. These included VIP family entry to the world famous water adventure park and a trip to Teide national park for a magical star gazing experience.
