The Event
NI were looking to host a few virtual team building activities to replace the regular in person meetings with their fellow international team members. We suggested a few options for NI based on a series of their events, ranging from more casual social events to team based challenges to help with team connection and engagement alongside a virtual events program. Over a 5 month period the team at NI took part in a virtual away day challenge for a team social, a fun pub quiz style virtual event for a management get together and then a virtual escape room to end the day for their virtual European conference. All events were hosted using video conferencing technology and managed by one of our virtual event managers and a led by a specialist host. With a huge variety of content across the virtual activities, the app based games helped recreate the upbeat weekly kick-off, the virtual away day and the after-work social. Each activity helped NI bring their team together, promoting better working relationships and boosting team morale and a connection across the European team.
