Where to eat for Veganuary

We’ve all heard about Dry January and now this year there’s a new kid on the block this year with ‘Veganuary’. For those who are choosing to go vegan for the month here are our top tips of where to go out and about to eat. This way you won’t miss out on a restaurant experience for the next couple of weeks.

Wulf & Lamb – don’t be put off by the name. This restaurant, based in Sloane Square, offers a plant based menu to tantalise your taste buds, promising to only serve ingredients that don’t have a pulse (unless it’s a chickpea, lentil or bean).

Flat Three – hidden away in Holland Park their chef, Pavel Kanja, is on a mission to end the perception that vegan food can never match meat or fish in taste and variety.

Romeo Bakery – this Islington bakery specialises in delicious dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan breads, cakes and quiches, so if you’ve got a sweet tooth this is still the place to be.

Fed By Water – based in Hackney they offer hearty Italian vegan cuisine with an extensive menu of pastas, pizzas, bruschettas and calzones.

Temple of Seitan – if you’re feeling naughty but still looking for the vegan option you have to try their vegan fried “chicken” (actually made from meat-substitute seitan) and mac ‘n’ “cheese”. You’ll then see what all the fuss is all about.
