For incentives from the UK, Spain is always going to be a popular destination. Coming up with different cities that are a little more unexplored is never easy however we feel we’ve really hit the nail on the head, with an incentive trip to Valencia.
Valencia: What’s not to like?
It’s lovely weather for most of the year, it’s a 2 hour trip from the UK and it still feels quintessentially Spanish. What’s not to like?
We had a group out there last weekend and it’s an incentive destination that has so much to offer. We stayed at the Westin Valencia, a stunning property within walking distance of the old town. It’s a city of both modern and traditional so first off we transferred to the City of Arts and Sciences with dinner for the group before moving on to the coolest club in the city, Umbracle. An outdoor club that holds 2000 people – this is one not to be missed!
The next day, after a delicious breakfast, we headed off to the docks to start our sailing regatta. The race was on to find the winning team!
After lunch at a nearby restaurant we sat out on the terrace eating the most delicious paella. Next up the group took an electric bike tour back through the city gardens to the hotel taking in all the sights.
After a little free time we headed into the old town for a pre dinner drink at Vintara, one of the cities family run tapas bars, before walking to restaurant Puerta Del Mar. The food here was amazing and our guests certainly didn’t go hungry!
It may be a bit of a whistle stop tour, being in Valencia for less than 48 hours, but our group had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to go back again
